Parameters are useful as they allow you to customize your Automation execution without any changes.
Think about using the same automation to execute generic actions on different URLs or perform searches for different keyword on a website.
Here is a quick tutorial on creating and using parameters 👇
Step by step description :
1. Create a parameter
Click on your automation. In the configuration form, create a parameter by filling its name and choosing its type.
2. Use your parameter in a block
Add your parameter in the block you would like to use it.
To do so, click on your parameter in the Variables drawer that opens when configuring the block.
4. Run your Automation
Click on your automation and run it.
When doing so, you will be asked to give a value to your parameter.
